Here are eight places to go gaga for golfing in Las Vegas, including mini-golf courses, simulated putting, and high-tech driving ranges.

You don’t have to play on a professional golf course to have fun on the links in Las Vegas. The city has several golf-adjacent activities for all ages, like mini-golf, driving ranges, and simulated golfing.

These golf venues are perfect for hanging out with friends and family or an adventurous date night. They’re a great way to stay active and a family-friendly alternative to gambling, day clubs, and nightlife.

From a kitschy mini-golf course themed after a glam rock band to a high-tech driving range with bars and swimming pools, here are eight places to go gaga for golfing in Las Vegas.

Mini Golf in Las Vegas

PopStroke

Where: Town Square, 6617 South Las Vegas Blvd.
Cost: An all-day pass starts at $35 on weekends

Created by a former Wall Street executive and backed by golfing legend Tiger Woods, PopStroke is a hole-in-one with locations in multiple cities. The two-story mini golf club has two original 18-hole golf courses accessible to players of all ages and skill levels.

But that’s just the tip of the golf tee.

PopStroke also has games like foosball and ping-pong, open-air dining, bars, an outdoor beer garden, oversized televisions, and an enclosed playground for kids. Players use professional TaylorMade equipment when mini-golfing, choosing between an easy or challenging course. You can order drinks and food from the hole on the PopStroke app.

Reviews on Yelp are primarily positive, complimenting the upbeat atmosphere and activities for people of all ages. “Tiger Woods did a good job here,” writes Daniel A., proclaiming, “Of all the mini golf places that existed in Las Vegas for the past 20-plus years, this is the best place.”

While not as large as reviewer Julie D. of Las Vegas expected, “the music is awesome, and the vibes are all there.”

Swingers

Where: Mandalay Bay, 3950 S. Las Vegas Blvd.
Cost: Golf play starts at $30 per person

Unlike TigerWoods’ family-friendly venue, Swingers is a whimsical adults-only destination with four golf courses, multiple bars and eateries, a DJ, and an arcade with carnival games and prizes. As Yelp Reviewer Michelle K. of Highlands Ranch, Colo. writes, “If a nightclub, a faux-botanical garden, a putt-putt course, and a carnival had a wild night together, Swingers would be their love child.”

The founders of this flagship 40,000-square-foot venue call Swingers “competitive socializing,” while Michelle K. called it a great alternative to traditional nightclubbing: “You still get the lively music and social vibe, but with interactive fun … It’s a great way to be active while enjoying a night out.”

Designed for mini-golfers of all abilities, there are two courses on the first level and two on the upper levels with moving obstacles like windmills, waterwheels, and carousels, plus jumps and loops. Caddies go hole to hole, taking players’ drink orders so you can sip on a cocktail or beer while you play. Customers say the courses are surprisingly challenging but not so hard that you’ll give up on sinking your ball.

Brian I. of Las Vegas adds: “If you’re looking for a cool mini golf course on the strip, this is your spot.”

Kiss World Mini Golf

Where: Rio Hotel Casino, 3700 W Flamingo Rd.
Cost: $12 per person to golf, $13 for the museum, $20 for both

You’ll want to rock and roll all night (well, until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on weekends) and party every day at Kiss World Mini Golf, an 18-hole miniature golf course at the Rio Hotel and Casino. This colorful, glow-in-the-dark putting experience is a glam symphony of black lights, music, mayhem, and never-seen-before Kiss props. If you wear white or light-colored clothing on the course, you will glow in the dark.

With holes of varying difficulty levels, it’s fun for the whole family whether you worship Gene Simmons’ abnormally long tongue or know nothing about him or the band. “Honestly, you don’t have to be a Kiss fan to play here,” writes Yelp Reviewer Sabrina S. of San Antonio, Texas, adding, “You’ll be rockin’ out to Kiss music throughout the 18 holes.”

The experience includes an arcade with retro and modern video games, Kiss pinball, and a gift shop. And if you happen to catch the wedding bug, you can “kiss” your bride or groom at the Rock ‘n Roll Wedding Chapel on site.

For an extra fee, you can explore the Kiss World Museum, which contains unique and original memorabilia donated by the band members. Yelp Reviewer Travis P. of California suggests “dishing out the few extra dollars” for mini golf and the museum.

Twilight Zone Mini Golf

Where: Horseshoe Hotel & Casino, 3645 S. Las Vegas Blvd.
Cost: $12 per person

You’re traveling through another dimension of mini-golf greens and holes … a journey into a wondrous golf course whose boundaries are that of the imagination … Twilight Zone Mini Golf.

Located on the first floor of the Horseshoe Las Vegas, this 18-hole course transports players of all ages along a custom-designed, glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course in the 5th dimension. Every putt is an adventure in sound and space.

Yelp Reviewer Francine L. of Los Angeles, Calif. writes, “If you remember the TV series as a kid like I did,” you should check it out, noting that the course is fun and challenging at times.

But Eva B. of Los Angeles writes that it doesn’t matter if you’ve seen the show: “Two of us had never even watched The Twilight Zone, but it didn’t matter. We had a great time being silly in this very low-key spot  … and considering how expensive Vegas can be, you really can’t beat their prices.”

Twilight Zone Mini Golf also features arcade games, bowling lanes, a gift shop, and the unique Syfy Wedding Chapel.

Driving ranges in Las Vegas

Top Golf

Where: 4627 Koval Lane
Cost: Pricing starts at $42 per hour for up to six players

With 100 venues globally, Topgolf is a multi-level, state-of-the-art venue with bars, a restaurant, two swimming pools, and comfortable hitting bays on four levels that are cooled in the summer and heated in the winter.

Players of all ages choose from tech-driven games where you aim for giant targets in the distance and earn points with high-tech balls that score themselves. You don’t have to worry about wandering around a long 18-hole course because the game is played from your bay. You also don’t have to worry about being a professional golfer or having perfect form. It’s all about having fun.

“It’s more than just a driving range, it’s an experience,” writes Yelp Reviewer D.J. of Nevada, noting the great view of the Las Vegas skyline, “especially as the sun sets.” While it can get busy, he adds, “Once you’re settled in, this spot is a vibe.”

Atomic Golf

Where: 1850 S. Main St.
Cost: Packages start at $25

Atomic Golf is a 100,000-square-foot facility in downtown Las Vegas by the Strat Hotel, Casino & Tower. Like Top Golf, this driving range uses next-generation golfing technology.

The driving range has 103 bays on four levels and a first-floor putting district with eight digital putting bays. The venue has six bars, chef-curated food menus, a tap room for craft brews, and a lounge.

Games at Atomic Golf are original and specifically designed for the facility. The bays are spacious, clean, and equipped with controls and heaters, according to Yelp Reviewer Narisco A. of Northridge, Calif. Narisco found the games a bit basic compared to TopGolf, but “The views of the mountains during sunset are breathtaking,” adding, “The relaxed vibe and affordable pricing make it a great spot for casual golfers.”

Reviewers on Yelp were particularly complimentary about the food and service at Atomic Golf. “The whole ambiance was such a vibe, and the food was really good,” writes Stephanie W. of Las Vegas, “especially the garlic fries.”
