Now through September 26, Las Vegas is holding a city-wide sale featuring over 100 deals. Here’s what you need to know about the “Fabulous 5-Day Sale.”

The city of Las Vegas recently announced a new initiative, dubbed “The Fabulous 5-Day Sale,” to help attract tourists amid an economic slump. The promotion runs now through September 26, and encompasses upwards of 100 deals offered by local businesses. These include price cuts on hotels, restaurants, stores, shows, and more.

Speaking about the decision to create this limited-time event, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) Steve Hill said in a press release that, “Las Vegas has always been about delivering unforgettable experiences at every price point, and with The Fabulous 5-Day Sale we’re doubling down on that promise and inviting travelers to plan their next escape at an unbeatable value.”

What exactly does that unbeatable value entail? Let’s get into the details!

What deals are being offered during the sale?

The exact promotions and savings vary from one establishment to the next. The Bellagio is offering up to $100 off daily food & beverage credits, along with 25% off room rates. The Arte Museum is providing tickets for $20 off the regular price, and the Vegas Golden Knights have tickets starting at $59 for select home games.

The Neon Rodeo at Bel-Aire Backyard is selling $20 all-in tickets, and the Reggae Rise Up Vegas Festival is offering 50% off single day general admission tickets. In terms of food and drink specials, restaurants are offering anything from discounted prix fixe menus and all-you-can-eat brunches to $5 drinks.

Why is tourism down in the US?

The decision to run the “Fabulous 5-Day Sale” event was sparked by the recent decline in tourism that’s impacting not only Las Vegas, but the entire US. According to a report issued by the LVCVA in June 2025, visitor volume is down over 11.3% year-over-year. Convention attendance was similarly down, with the LVCVA noting it was 10.7% lower than it was in June 2024.

This follows a May 2025 report from the World Travel & Tourism Council that stated the “US is on track to lose a staggering $12.5 billion in international visitor spending this year.”  Many travelers are simply opting out of visiting the States due to President Trump’s increased tariffs, while others are more hesitant to visit than they were previously due to the current climate of unrest. Travel Pulse notes that visitors have indicated that they have concerns over gun violence, discrimination, border detentions, visa policies, and other actions from the Trump Administration.
