Seeking a more modern approach to Mexican cuisine for your Cinco celebration? Head to Toca Madera inside The Shops at Crystals. This sleek and seductive restaurant offers elevated Latin takes on classics like crispy wagyu tacos, truffle manchego fries and branzino with a chipotle mezcal butter.
Travel off the Strip to La Popular CDMX at Palms Casino Resort, which features a stunning design and authentic fare inspired by Mexico City, Mexico. A celebratory Cinco de Mayo margarita is in order—and here, those cocktails are works of art, with some available to be ordered as a group cocktail for extra fun and flair. Uno Más Street Tacos + Spirits at SAHARA Las Vegas is exactly what you need on Cinco de Mayo: tacos and tequila. Watch your selections get made from the glass viewing window while sipping on a margarita or Mexican beer. As for the tacos, the options are vast—from quesabirria to chicken tinga to vegan options. And don’t forget the guac!
Tequila is pretty much a must-have every Cinco de Mayo, so head to Ghost Donkey at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for its extensive menu featuring the spirit and its agave cousin, mezcal. A fiesta waiting to happen, the bar also offers specialty nachos—from elevated takes with black truffles to a mole chicken variety. Plus, there’s queso—and you can never have enough queso!
If you’re spending the day in historic downtown Las Vegas, La Mona Rosa is the place to be this Cinco de Mayo.
