If you’re planning a quinceañera celebration in Las Vegas, count yourself lucky. This once in a lifetime rite of passage will happen in a one of a kind city, a city that’s packed with world-class event spaces.
With plenty of places and price points to choose from, you can go as intimate or extravagant as you want to create a meaningful and memorable event.
From traditional banquet halls to less conventional spaces like museums, restaurants and interactive attractions, here are some unique places to have a quinceañera in Las Vegas.
Springs Preserve
Although catering isn’t included, the 180-acre Springs Preserve offers a wide variety of gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces for receptions of all sizes, whether you’re choreographing a grand entrance in the 13,000 square-foot outdoor Springs Amphitheater or mingle with drinks and appetizers among colorful plants and flowers in the 304,920 square-foot Botanical Garden. The Garden Terrace and Outdoor Patio offer panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip while Boomtown sets your celebration amid a historic Old West streetscape.
Neon Museum
The Neon Museum in downtown Las Vegas showcases the city’s bright legacy through its colorful signage of eras past. It’s an intimate and exclusive place to celebrate your quinceanera in retro style. Your party, for up to 70 guests, will take place after sunset, amid a curated collection of historic hotel-casino signage in the North Galley with 360-degree light and sound capabilities. For food and drinks, the museum has a list of exclusive caterers to choose from but any other vendors (such as furniture rental, décor, floral and entertainment) are your responsibility.
Keep Memory Alive Event Center
A quinceañera in the Keep Memory Alive Event Center at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health is as unique as the building itself. This visually striking melding of curved steel and windows in downtown Las Vegas was designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry. Guests can explore the entire grounds with room for up to 450 seated guests in the 9,800-square-foot event center and up to 1,500 for a reception. Options for customizing the big day include a versatile LED lighting presentation, concert-quality acoustics and staging. Food and drinks are prepared in a state-of-the-art kitchen, designed by chef Wolfgang Puck, and served with custom bone china and glassware. Plus, your party will benefit the clinic’s cutting-edge research, social services, and programs.
Party bus
Now that you’re turning 15, show the world that you’re going places by taking your quinceañera on the road. Party Bus Las Vegas includes your choice of theme, decorations, flowers and catering. Crown Las Vegas, Strip Key Limo and Fabulous Transportation take you on an excursion through a cool location like the Valley of Fire or the Las Vegas Strip. With ample seating (often up to 40 passengers), a chauffeur, music, lights and a dance floor, it’s everything you need for the night of your life.
Circus Circus Hotel & Casino
There are several hotels that host quinceañeras, but since Circus Circus Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip caters to guests of all ages, it’s a perfect location for a large, family-friendly event. It’s also a budget-friendly option, with a variety of packages covering everything you might need. You out of towners can stay close to the celebration and there’s plenty to do before or after with the kids, such as play midway games, see circus shows and ride roller coasters in the Adventuredome.
Area 15
An immersive entertainment venue with public art pieces, VR experiences, arcade games and rides, the enigmatic Area 15 has multiple spaces for events, small and large. These rooms range from a quaint banquet in a visually stimulating space to a festival for thousands on the 32,000 square foot A-Lot. What’s more, the venue will plan, design and cater your event, so all you have to do is show up.
High Roller
Your quinceanera party will be a record-breaking experience if you have it on the High Roller, the largest observation wheel in Northern America. Located at the open-air LINQ promenade, it features 28 40-person cabins rotating on a slow 30-minute cycle with 360 views of Las Vegas, including the Strip, the new Vegas Sphere and the rest of the valley; particularly dreamy at sunset. The cabins can be outfitted with a rolling bar (for guests 21+) and the fun can continue afterward at one of many restaurants along the LINQ or with a concert and bowling at Brooklyn Bowl.
Banquet halls
For a venue that comes with just about everything you might need, banquet halls are your best bet. And there is no shortage of banquet halls to choose from around the Las Vegas Valley. With a fully customizable space for up to 320 guests, the 8,000-square-foot Fabrizio Banquet Hall includes state-of-the-art lighting, video walls, two stages, a portable bar and a variety of table styles and food options. El Palacio Del Sol has three party rooms and choices like dinner, a photo booth, a mariachi band, servers and table decorations. Or make a red carpet entrance at Sunset Castle like the true princess.
Restaurants
If your reception is mostly about the food, a restaurant may be the way to go. You can opt for everything from a small private room at a neighborhood cafe to a full restaurant buyout on the Las Vegas Strip. Located within The Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes in Las Vegas, Cañonita offers a customizable menu of Mexican soulfood for groups ranging from 10 people to a lively gathering of 400. El Segundo Sol at the Fashion Show gives you room for up to 250 guests, made-to-order margaritas and cuisine, and a patio overlooking the world famous Las Vegas Strip. For a swanky affair, entertain up to 500 guests with a menu from a James Beard award-winning chef at Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at the Sahara Las Vegas.
